Conference Article: The Mode Design Of The Rotor In Active Magnetic Bearing
Hongwei Li, Yang Xu, Lei Zhao, Suyuan Yu, Institute of Nuclear and New Energy Technology, Beijing, CHINAAbstract
After the AMB system passed through the first bend critical, we have changed the design of the rotor to pass through the second bend critical. In this paper we have analyzed the modes of the rotor using finite element analysis and compared the maximal circle velocity of the lowest five modes with that material allows. From the result, we can make a conclusion that the rotor will not be restricted by the maximal circle velocity of the material allows when the rotor is passing through the second bend critical. These results provide a reference for the rotor passing the second bend critical.
