Integral component in electromagnetic bearing control system of GT-MHR turbomachine rotor needs to compensate constant forces influenced on rotor which value was not predetermined (so-called “external disturbances”). Investigations of influence of this component in proportional integral differential regulator of EMB control system on rotor stability and dynamics under compensation of an integral component of above mentioned force were carried out taking into account aperiodic force from the pivot of axial electromagnetic bearing. An integral component of the regulator is used in control systems of well-known vertical rotors (e.g. in FLP-500 test facility control system of IPM, Zittau, Germany /1/). An integral component was used in regulator design developed by S2? for PBMR turbogenerator too. If there is an aperiodic force from the pivot of the axial EMB integral component application requires additional measures because of an integral component decreases stability region, while aperiodic force of the axial EMB passing null state changes sign. Therefore if there is an aperiodic force from the pivot of axial electromagnetic bearing it is necessary to develop operation algorithm of an integral component.
