Conference Article: A brief summary of the Korean liquid metal reactor R and D programme

Abstract

This paper summarizes the status of the Korean nuclear power grid and gives the back-ground for the LMR R&D works in Korea. The main objectives of the R&D program and a tentative schedule with 5 progressing stages for the development of KALIMER(Korea Advanced Liquid Metal Reactor) are given and the current LMR experiences are briefly described.
