Conference Article: ADS - Neutronic benchmark
International Atomic Energy Agency, Vienna (Austria)Abstract
This is the final version of the ADS-Benchmark issued after revision of all proposals and remarks of participants available before dead-line (31 May 1996). The goal of this benchmark (Stage I) can be defined as a verification of reactivity burnup swing as well as some important reactivity effects for a fast spectrum ADS (233U - 232Th fuel) with an external (spallation type) neutron source at different subcriticality levels. A precise simulation of this source as well as an investigation of a neutron source importance are planned for the next stage of the Benchmark.
