IAEA Director General Mohamed ElBaradei addressed the media following 2.5 days of talks on supplying nuclear fuel for Iran´s Research Reactor in Tehran. The IAEA hosted the meeting of representatives from France, Iran, Russia and the United States at its Headquarters in Vienna, Austria.

The two candidates for the post are Mr. Yukiya Amano of Japan and Mr. Abdul Samad Minty of South Africa. In order to be appointed, a candidate must secure two-thirds of the vote.
