The Chancellor Willy Brandt Foundation and Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany, co-sponsor the annual Willy Brandt Lecture and invite an outstanding personality of international renown from politics, science, economics or culture. On 20 November 2009, IAEA Director General Mohamed ElBaradei delivered the Second Willy Brandt Lecture. The lecture series acknowledges Willy Brandt’s legacy by addressing historical and political issues of primary significance for our present and future, while deepening understanding of the past.
