Convention on Assistance in the Case of a Nuclear Accident or Radiological Emergency

Entry into Force

  1. Pursuant to Article 14, paragraph 3, the Convention on Assistance in the Case of a Nuclear Accident or Radiological Emergency1/ entered into force on 26 February 1987, i.e. thirty days after the date (26 January 1987) on which the third State expressed its consent to be bound by the Convention.

  2. The Status of signatures and ratifications of the Convention up to the date of its entry into force is reproduced herein for the information of all Member States.
