The main financial source for the IPP&LM is a general grant from the State Committee of Scientific Research which covers a half of the minimum living costs of the Institute. |

| INFOBAZA is a data base containing a directory and information of scientific databases and utility software installed on supercomputers existing in Poland. It has been created to facilitate and speed-up of information retrieval process that is aimed on data bases founded and purchased by scientific institutions, as well as to get a picture of accessible software and a hardware-software platforms in domestic supercomputer centers. A handy WWW interface gives a suitable access to the base. The underlying program enables forthright information retrieval for user entries in a form of given topics and a mark that indicates whether a data base or supercomputer software is to be searched. It is also possible a complex search that requires criteria with more particulars (the base or software name, domain, subject matters). As soon as requested information of a data base is found, it is possible a direct connection to the base via WWW or Telnet. |
