Training Courses


Analysis of macroeconomic impacts from nuclear power plant construction and operation

Training can be provided on topics including: macroeconomic impacts of nuclear power plant construction and operation; methods and models for quantification of sectoral and economy-wide impacts; different types of indicators; ex-ante vs. ex-post analysis; trade-off analysis; developing a simple pro forma project model; usage of advanced quantitative tools to estimate economic impacts of nuclear power deployment on local and national economy.

Workshops/Expert Missions


Analysis of macroeconomic impacts from nuclear power plant construction and operation

Workshops/EMs would address topics similar to those addressed by Training Courses in this area, but would be customized to suit particular Member State requirements. Areas addressed could include macroeconomic impacts of nuclear power plant construction and operation; methods and models for quantification of macroeconomic impacts; different types of indicators; ex-ante vs. ex-post analysis; developing a simple pro forma project model; usage of advanced quantitative tools to estimate economic impacts of nuclear power deployment on local and national economy.

Review missions can take place in order to provide Member States with expert feedback on macroeconomic impact analyses that have been performed within government or by consultants.
