IPCC Special Report on Emissions Scenarios (SRES, 2000)
In 2000 the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) published a Special Report on Emissions Scenarios (SRES). The report provides new reference scenarios of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions through 2100 for both researchers and diplomats involved in the UNFCCC climate change negotiations.
The international writing team of 28 lead authors included H-Holger Rogner, Head of the IAEA’s Planning and Economic Studies Section (PESS). To read the report click here.
