Abstract:
A report prepared by the IAEA following a recommendation by the fifth panel on the use of nuclear energy in saline water conversion that met in Vienna in April 1965. It contains a review of the basic principles for costing desalination plants and of the various methods proposed for allocating costs in dual-purpose plants.
