The Agency's Laboratories Seibersdorf and Vienna
Organizational Structure
The Agency's Laboratories are part of the Department of Nuclear Sciences and Applications where they have the status of a Division. The Laboratories are organized into four sections (three laboratories and one service and maintenance section), namely:
- the General Services and Safety Section,
- the Physics-Chemistry-Instrumentation (PCI) Laboratory,
- the FAO/IAEA Agriculture and Biotechnology Laboratory,
- the Safeguards Analytical Laboratory (SAL).
The Director of the Laboratories is assisted by an Administrative Assistant and by a Quality Systems Manager.
The Director reports to the Deputy Director General -Nuclear Sciences and Applications.
