Seibersdorf Library
General
The Seibersdorf Library is an integral part of the IAEA Library and shares the objectives of the latter in that it serves Seibersdorf staff and fellows as well as IAEA Library users. The Seibersdorf Library, in close co-operation with the IAEA Main Library, is responsible for acquiring and maintaining an up-to-date collection of information resources and offering information services to support the work Programmes of IAEA staff stationed at Seibersdorf. Most of the library material is acquired in response to requests from staff and in consultation with the designated library advisors in different work areas.

Presently, the Seibersdorf Library collection includes over 4000 titles: books, journals, CDs, technical reports, videos, and reference material. Reference material includes directories, dictionaries, handbooks, encyclopedias, yearbooks, bibliographies, abstracts and indexes, statistical data sets, guides, maps and atlases. All of these materials located in the Seibersdorf Library can be identified through the online IAEA Library Catalogue with "SEIB" indicated in the items' location field.
