Contribute Your Expertise to Collaboration on Innovations
2013-09-25 │ Effective collaboration on innovations and R&D offers many advantages and is recognized as essential, particularly in the area of developing innovative globally sustainable nuclear energy systems.
The IAEA is in the unique position to collect and disseminate experiences and good practices that support Member States in using effective mechanisms for collaboration on innovations.
That is why the development of a new IAEA Nuclear Energy Series report on enhancing collaboration on innovations to support globally sustainable nuclear energy systems is viewed as a cross-cutting and important activity. It started earlier in 2013 with the aim to publish the document in 2015. The report is prepared by the INPRO Group in cooperation with IAEA Member States and other IAEA programmes. This activity was endorsed by the INPRO Steering Committee at its meeting in May 2013.
A number of interesting meetings are planned, involving world leaders in the areas of innovations, technology holders and users, experts from the R&D sector, regulators, and academics.
Mark the following dates on your calendar: a technical meeting on this topic will be held on 8−11 April 2014, and an INPRO Dialogue Forum on International Collaboration on Innovations: Towards Global Sustainable Nuclear Energy is scheduled for 18−21 November 2014.
Experts interested in participating in this activity are also invited to contact Alexey Grigoriev or Alexey Kazennov at the IAEA INPRO Group.
