Workshop on Energy Assessments and Pre-Feasibility and Feasibility Studies for Nuclear Power Programme
When considering launching a nuclear power programme, emphasis should be placed on the assessment and evaluation of economic and technical issues of infrastructure development through a pre-feasibility study. The purpose of this workshop is to provide guidance and training on the conduct of energy planning or assessments and pre-feasibility/feasibility studies for the introduction of nuclear power programmes.
The workshop will focus on three main areas:
- Nuclear power and energy policy
- Main issues connected with pre-feasibility studies for the introduction of a nuclear power pgoramme; and
- Main technical aspects of feasiblity studies
