This publication is intended to present a basic overview of instrumentation and control (I&C) systems in nuclear power plants (NPPs) and to serve as a reference guide on the subject. 7 December 2011 - Regional Training Course on plant life management model and ageing management for long term operation was held from 29 November to 2 December 2011 in Paks, Hungary. The purpose of the traing course was to transfer experience concerning the plant life management (PLiM) and ageing management for strengthening capabilities for operating nuclear power plants performance and service life. 28 November 2011 - Member states have asked the Agency to assist in providing a forum in order to share practical experience on the development and implementation of strategic partnerships between the parties involved in the expansion of a nuclear power programme. A Technical Meeting on the topic was held in IAEA Headquarters, Vienna, Austria from 22-25th November, 2011. More than 20 participants from 12 countries attended this meeting. Read more...
