Statement Attributable to IAEA Spokesperson Melissa Fleming on latest ElBaradei–Larijani Meeting

25 June 2007 | Dr. Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran´s Supreme National Security Council, flew to Vienna Sunday evening, 24 June, to hold another meeting with IAEA Director General Mohamed ElBaradei.

Dr. Larijani invited the IAEA to send a team to Tehran to develop an action plan for resolving outstanding issues related to Iran´s past nuclear programme. The IAEA intends to send a team as early as practicable.
