6 July 2006 | A senior IAEA team will visit New Delhi at the invitation of the Government of India from 7 to 8 July 2006 to discuss, as foreseen in the Joint Statement of 18 July 2005 signed by G.W. Bush, President of the USA and Mr. M. Singh, Prime Minister of India, the application of safeguards to nuclear material and facilities that constitute India´s civilian nuclear programme.
