Press Arrangements for IAEA General Conference

26 - 30 September 2005, Vienna, Austria

14 September 2005 | High-level delegations from IAEA Member States will gather in Vienna to discuss major issues facing the Agency at its annual General Conference from Monday, 26, to Friday, 30 September 2005.


The Provisional Agenda of the 49th General Conference is available at the IAEA website: http://www.iaea.org/About/Policy/GC/GC49/Documents/gc49-1.html.

The event will take place at the Austria Center, Bruno-Kreisky-Platz 1, 1220 Vienna.

The plenary sessions of the five-day meeting are open to journalists.

There will be a daily press briefing at 11:00 a.m. The venue of the briefings will be posted in the press working area, which is equipped with Wireless LAN.

IAEA public information staff will be on hand to assist media representatives in the press working area on floor 01, starting from 09:00 a.m. on Monday, 19 September 2005.
