Experiments to find solutions to dispose of high-level radioactive waste are conducted at the Grimsel Underground Rock Laboratory. The rock lab is part of the IAEA's Centres of Excellence programme to build confidence and capacity throughout the world in geological disposal of radioactive wastes. (Switzerland)
