INPRO Members 2012
INPRO's membership consists of 36 Members – 35 IAEA Member States and the European Commission (EC):
Algeria, Argentina, Armenia, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, China, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Republic of Korea, Morocco, Netherlands, Pakistan, Poland, Russian Federation, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, United States of America, Vietnam and the EC.
Several other countries participate on a working level or as observers in INPRO meetings.
How to become a member of INPRO?
IAEA Member States and recognized international organizations can become members of INPRO.
A condition for membership is to make contributions to INPRO, which can be in the form of any of the following:
- Providing extrabudgetary funds;
- Providing cost-free experts to work with the INPRO Group at the IAEA;
- Performing agreed nuclear energy system assessment studies using the INPRO methodology;
- Participating in INPRO Collaborative Projects.
When agreement is reached on the mode of participation, the Member State is officially recognized as a member of INPRO.
