The General Conference,

1. Recalling its resolution GC (42)/RES/12,

2. Noting with appreciation document GOV/1999/46-GC(43)/10 on "The Safety of Radiation Sources and the Security of Radioactive Materials", and especially the action plan contained in Attachment 2 to that document, and

3. Noting that the Board of Governors has approved the action plan and requested the Secretariat to implement it,
1. Endorses Endorses the decision of the Board and urges the Secretariat to implement the action plan; and

2. Requests the Director General to report to it at its forty-fourth (2000) regular session on the implementation of this resolution.
