Informal Meeting of European Heads of State

30 April 2008 | IAEA Director General Dr. Mohamed ElBaradei participated today in an informal meeting of European Heads of State held in Graz, Austria.

Dr. ElBaradei took part in the second plenary session dedicated to the subject of Questions of European Foreign and Security Policy, which was being chaired by Tarja Halonen, President of the Republic of Finland.
The meeting was an initiative of Austria's Federal President Heinz Fisher, and saw the participation of the Heads of State from the following countries: Austria; Finland; Germany; Hungary; Italy; Latvia; Poland and Portugal. The meeting was held in Graz, Austria, from 29-30 April.
